Taking The Word To The hearts Of Men (Acts 1:8)
All that is in me desires to know nothing but the grace of God by which I stand. I wish for no fame in this life, no name to set me above another, for I know the mercy that has been poured out on such a wretch like me. I have nothing to boast in, nothing to lay claim as my own, but by His grace I stand. It is this mercy, this love that has set my feet on the high place of knowing Him. Truly I am nothing without Him. In this race I run, I have often slowed the pace by allowing the lie of the enemy to put doubt and fear within, causing me draw back from the things that are before me. However, faith is that which I cannot see in the things of this life, it comes from my trust in the Saving Live of Christ. Christ has shinned His love upon me, He has given me a heart pliable, not harden from the days past, but born anew into His kingdom that will never pass away. It shames my heart, when I find the darkness of doubt creeping in, but I have learned to draw near to the Light that never dims, the grace that is sure and true. Though I am a fool too many in this world, I will be a fool for Christ, setting my sight on that which is so beyond the riches of this perishing world. Truly I am nothing without the Lord. I cannot carry the weight, the liar and thief tries to put on me. I know I cannot face another day without the Lord, who knows my weakness. He has given me favor by the blood he spent on this soul so in need of Him. His light shines on me, and I will allow this brightness to spill forth to those so in need of Him. Though none go with me, I will follow, because His grace shines on me.
