PSALM 31
In You, O Lord, I put my trust;
Let me never be ashamed;
Deliver me in Your righteousness. ..
For You are my rock and my fortress;
...for Your names sake, lead me and guide me.
Into Your hand I commit my spirit;
You have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.
You have known my soul in adversities,
And have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy;
You have set my feet in a wide place.
14 ... I trust in You, O Lord;
I say, You are my God.
My times are in Your hand;
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies...
Oh, how great is Your goodness,
Which You have laid up for those who fear You ...

You shall hide them in the secret place
of Your presence from the plots of man;
You shall keep them ... from the strife of tongues. ...
Be of good courage,
and He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the Lord.

PSALM 30
Sing praise to the Lord, you saints of His,
And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name...
Weeping may endure for a night,
But joy comes in the morning.
10 Hear, O Lord, and have mercy on me...
You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness...
O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

PSALM 32
The Joy of Forgiveness
Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven,
Whose sin is covered. ...
I acknowledged my sin to You,
and my iniquity I have not hidden.
I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,
And You forgave the iniquity of my sin.
7 You are my hiding place;
You shall preserve me from trouble;
You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous;
And shout for joy, all you upright in heart! |
