"When you go out to battle against your enemies and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, who brought you up from the land of Egypt, is with you." (Deuteronomy 20:1 NASB)

Faith! Without it, we cannot walk in the light of Christ. Faith is a gift from our Lord; He has bestowed on us through His great love the power to walk in His might. What is it that keeps us from walking in His strength and sharing His love?

It is doubts and fears, based on lies from the enemy. We look at others and think they are more fit -- more in tune to be used. We do not see that the Lord uses the weak things the abase that is me and you. Pride has no place, no footprints in the walk of faith. Only those who have abandon their life to Christ those who trust the Lord, because of what HE has done and who He is. --- For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; (Ephesians 2:8 NASB) --

When I look to myself I find nothing that I can lay before the Lord as useful. I know I have to look to Him for all, for everything. It is His armor, His might that can only set my feet on the high place, giving me the courage to press on. Life and light come from the Author, the creator of all good things. It has only been my fears and doubts that have kept me out of the race, kept me from the fight. I look back and I see His hand, His wondrous work, why should any of us doubt such marvelous miracle as the gift He has given? Faith is our wings to take flight. ---- Let your character be free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, "I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU," so that we confidently say, "THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT SHALL MAN DO TO ME?" Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith. (Hebrews 13:5-7 NASB)
