Signs of the times

"So now we call the proud blessed,

For those who do wickedness are raised up;

They even tempt God and go free.’ "

[or so it seems for the moment]  Malachi  3:15

"He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just,

Both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord." Proverbs 17:15

"You have wearied the Lord with your words;

Yet you say, "In what way have we wearied Him?"

In that you say, "Everyone who does evil is good

in the sight of the Lord, and He delights in them..."

Or, "Where is the God of justice?"  Malachi 2:17

"You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God." Luke 16:15

"So now we call the proud blessed,

For those who do wickedness are raised up;

They even tempt God and go free.’ "

[or so it seems for the moment]  Malachi  3:15

"For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage." 2 Peter 2:18-19

 "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness.... No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." Matthew 6:22-24

That's how the Hegelian "consensus process" works. You may think it brings unity and tolerance, but it actually shifts values so that the group (collective) hates God's good and delights in what He calls evil. See Brainwashing in America

God will not be mocked. Nor does He change with time. Nor does human nature. We, like Israel, tend to forget that God (not clever people) is the One who gave us freedom and peace in this great nation. But when we ignore His ways, He once again withdraws His protection and turns us over to the natural consequences built into His creation. [See 1 Corinthians 10-1-13 Some people may then recognize their need and appreciate His wise, loving and sovereign  care for His people.  [See America's Spiritual Slide]
