"The next day John saw Jesus
coming toward him, and said, 'Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the
sin of the world! 'This is He of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man who is
preferred before me, for He was before me.’ I did not
know Him; but that He should be revealed to Israel,
therefore I came baptizing with water.”
John
1:29-30
"Again, the next day, John
stood with two of his disciples. And looking at Jesus as He walked, he
said, 'Behold the Lamb of God!'”
John 1:35-36
"...you were not
redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless
conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious
blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He
indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God,
who
raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are
in God." 1 Peter 1:18-21
"He
then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but
now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away
sin by the sacrifice of Himself. And as it is appointed for men to die once, but
after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of
many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a
second time, apart from sin, for salvation."
Hebrews
9:26-28
"For Christ
has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are
copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to
appear in the presence of God for us; not that He should
offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy
Place every year with blood of another— He then would have
had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now,
once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin
by the sacrifice of Himself. And as it is appointed for men
to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ
was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who
eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from
sin, for salvation."
Hebrews
9:24-27
"And every priest stands ministering daily and offering
repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for
sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from
that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are
being sanctified.
"But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had
said before, 'This is the covenant that I will make with them after
those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts,
and in their minds I will write them,' then He adds,
'Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no
more.' Now where there is remission of these, there is
no longer an offering for sin.
"Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the
Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way
which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His
flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God,
let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of
faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and
our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the
confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised
is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to
stir up love and good works, not forsaking the
assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but
exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the
Day approaching."
Hebrews 10:11-25

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom,
And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”
And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the

“Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him who sits on the throne,
And to the Lamb, forever and ever!”
Revelation 5:11

their eyes.”
Revelation 7:16-17
"0 Then I heard a loud voice saying
in heaven, '“Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the
power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused
them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame
him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did
not love their lives to the death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you
who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the
devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has
a short time.”

are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority
for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will

the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and
King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only
those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life."
