Cabbage Patch Dolls

Question: Do you know any occult practice or association with the cabbage-patch dolls?

Answer To finds out, I just took a "virtual tour" at this cabbage patch website: http://www.cabbagepatchkids.com/

It reminded me of some concerns I had back in the early eighties: each doll is marketed as an individual person. They are born in nurseries (might even be premies), are called "little people", have special names (I was given some warnings but don't have any documentation for what I heard), are formally adopted by children, go to school, etc.

One of the pages in the "virtual tour" shows a "Magic Crystal Tree" (the capitalized words suggest the name of a personified creature)  with little heads on the ground. Apparently, they are baby heads in cabbage leaves, but they reminded me of white skulls. The caption states:

"When you hear the words, 'Dr. report to delivery, we have a Mother Cabbage in labor', hurry to the Magic Crystal Tree to witness a delivery."

The next page shows little winged creatures around the magic tree. Caption:

"Dr. Campbell explains that it is the Bunnybees who
help determine the sex of the baby.
Pink magic crystals for girls, blue for boys."

Next page: Mother Cabbage is dilated 10 leaves apart. Everything looks normal. “A little more Imagicillan please.” How would a mother explain that one to a preschool child?

A few pages later: "Once you find that perfect Kid, a nurse performs the oath of adoption."

Oath of adoption? This oath mocks the solemness of an oath and violates James 5:12:

But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes,” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment.

Perhaps others can offer their insights.
