God's Amazing Art

"Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you...?"  Matthew 6:28-30

Fairest Lord Jesus,

Ruler of all nature,
O Thou of God

and man the Son,
Thee will I cherish,

Thee will I honor,
Thou, my soul's glory,

joy and crown.

Fair are the meadows,

fairer still the woodlands,
Robed in the blooming

garb of spring;
Jesus is fairer,

Jesus is purer,
Who makes the woeful

heart to sing.

Beautiful Savior!

Lord of all the nations!
Son of God and

Son of Man!
Glory and honor,

praise, adoration,
Now and forever more

be Thine.

"...the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.

"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools...."  Romans 1:18-22

These  four strange

plants bring precious reminders that God's creativity stretches far beyond man's limited understanding.
