"...even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed."

Corruption. Daschle Never Forgot to Vote for Higher Taxes: During his 26 years in Congress, former Sen. Tom Daschle [withdrew] consistently supported tax hikes, opposed tax cuts and had tough words for tax scofflaws. 'Make no mistake, tax cheaters cheat us all, and the IRS should enforce our laws to the letter,' Daschle said in 1998, according to the Congressional Record.... Daschle, nominated to serve as President Barack Obama’s secretary of Health and Human Services, paid $128,203 in back taxes and $11,964 in interest last week" [apparently, in order to qualify for the nomination -- then withdrew] See The Transformation of America

"As nightfall does not come all at once, neither does oppression. In both instances there is a twilight when everything remains seemingly unchanged. And it is is such a twilight that we must all be most aware of change in the air - however slight - lest we all become unwitting victims of the darkness." Justice William O. Douglas

"Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and e the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God." 2 Th 2:1-3

"....all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you must continue in the things which you have learned..." 2 Ti 3:12-14

"The coming of the lawless one is m according to the working of Satan, with all power, n signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And  for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness." 2 Th 2:9-12

"As I always say, the "oldest hatred" didn't get that way without an ability to adapt: Once upon a time on the Continent, Jews were hated as rootless cosmopolitan figures who owed no national allegiance. So they became a conventional nation state, and now they're hated for that. And, if Hamas get their way and destroy the Jewish state, the few who survive will be hated for something else. So it goes." Mark Steyn

Government Control.  Obama plan has billions for cops: "Obama's huge stimulus plan includes about $4 billion to resurrect grants that put tens of thousands of police on the streets during the 1990s.... [R]estoring them was central to Obama's campaign plan to combat rising violence. By tacking the money onto the stimulus plan, Obama avoids having to defend the spending during the normal budget process....

"Another $1 billion in stimulus money is set aside for the Community Oriented Policing Services program begun under President Clinton.... President George Bush slashed both grant programs over the past eight years, citing a series of reports questioning their efficiency and oversight.... But the programs remain popular among many lawmakers, who often used the grants to steer money to their home districts." [swat tema. facebook asault, risting violence, See ARTICLE

Collapse of Justice - Rise of Tyranny: "Her husband, who retired from the Navy Military Police, had been out of work but was exuberant over a new job. He is working for the local police department where they are increasing their number of officers by close to ten percent. Offhandedly, I remarked, 'I hope you don’t arrest too many people. United States has a larger percent of its citizens in jail than any other nation in the world except Russia'.

"..he reared back and responded that it is because our citizens 'do not obey the law'.

"Not too many years ago there was a lively discussion about whether United States soldiers would be willing to confiscate guns from their fellow citizens or arrest them on trumped up charges....

"Our courts are convicting innocent people far too frequently. Estimates of convictions of the innocents for some crimes may run higher than 25 percent. One writer says 'the FBI found that 25% of the suspects in 12,000 rape cases were excluded by DNA testing. That finding is particularly significant because exclusionary DNA evidence is only available in a small percentage of all criminal cases.” See ARTICLE

not use  Sin was never specifically defined although it was given indirect attention by offhand references to stealing, rebellion, unfair practices, and doubt. It was never directly connected to behavior and the audience was left with a vague idea that sin is a nonspecific wrong. Nothing was said about obedience, the Will of God or of blessing and cursing. God’s Law was studiously avoided as was the vast chasm left by its absence. Christians cannot live a Christian life under a secular legal system and a Christian legal system cannot exist under a secular government

CATEGORY .  Dog and Man in Washington: Rogers, a 54-year-old regional sales manager for Georgia-Pacific, was sleeping under the stars when a large dog suddenly vaulted over a wooden fence and sank its teeth into his left arm. Shocked and disoriented in the darkness, and not wearing his eyeglasses, Rogers struggled desperately to free himself from the dog, to no avail. ...

"The TriCity Herald offers a more descriptive account: 'Deke latched onto [Rogers] and in the struggle bit him several times on the hand, back, neck and face while three officers beat him.'... A voice from the other side of the fence informed Rogers that the dog was the property of the Kennewick Police Department's K-9 Unit. 'Stop fighting the dog and I will release him,' yelled Officer Bradley Kohn. Rogers, understandably, wasn't content to wait, and started punching the police dog -- later identified as “Deke” -- in the head.

"Officer Kohn, along with Officer Ryan Bonnalie, tore down part of the fence. The two of them, along with Deputy Jeff Quackenbush, “entered the backyard and subdued Rogers,” as the excessively decorous language of a legal appeal filed by the officers describes the incident. ....

"An even more candid description of the episode would be this: Ken was sleeping peacefully when he suffered a potentially lethal dog attack, and then was severely beaten by three armed men after they had vandalized his host's property.

"Supposedly, all of this was justified because the police were hot on the trail of a criminal suspect. One would presume that they were seeking a burglar, a rapist, or some other practitioner of criminal violence. One would be mistaken: The police officers who beat Ken Rogers had been summoned as backup by Sgt. Richard Dopke after he had spotted someone riding a mini-moped without a helmet or turning on the lights." See ARTICLE

Holder confirmed as Attorney General Posted: 06:44 PM ET: "The U.S. Senate confirmed Eric Holder as attorney general Monday, voting 75-21 to place him in charge of the Department of Justice.... During confirmation hearings, Republicans questioned his role in former President Bill Clinton's widely criticized last-minute pardon of fugitive financier Marc Rich and questioned whether he would be independent of the White House."

Battle Brewing Over Holder's Clinton-Era Decisions: "Specter questioned why Holder, as deputy attorney general, opposed naming a special prosecutor to look into campaign finance allegations that then -- Vice President Al Gore was raising money in the White House. And the senator took aim at Holder's role in securing clemency in 1999 for members of Puerto Rican separatist groups, including four members convicted of being involved in robbing a Wells Fargo office in Connecticut of $7.2 million. Some of that money was traced to Cuba, according to published reports. In all, 16 radical Puerto Rican nationalists belonging to two groups involved in bombings, murders and robberies received offers of clemency that Holder recommended. "The actions of Deputy Attorney General Holder were very extensive in what eventuated in the granting of clemency," Specter said. ....Many critics saw it as a political move by Clinton intended to help his wife's standing with the Puerto Rican community in New York, where she was running for Senate. Republican witnesses include two with personal interest in the Puerto Rican clemency issue: Joseph Connor, the son of a man killed in a 1975 New York City bombing attributed to the violent Puerto Rican nationalists, and Richard Hahn, a former FBI agent who spent more than a dozen years investigating one of the two radical groups." Will The Rich Pardon Trip Up Obama's Pick For AG? "Rich's ex-wife had donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Clintons. When prosecutors charged Rich with millions in fraud and tax evasion, he fled to Switzerland. A former White House counsel named Jack Quinn was hired to represent him. ....Back at the Justice Department, Holder was in charge of overseeing pardons.... Holder did not check with his deputies first, nor he did ask for input from the prosecutors who had charged Rich in the first place. The next day — on his last day in office — Clinton pardoned Rich. ... Republicans such as Sen. Mike DeWine of Ohio accused Holder of distorting justice for his own self-interest. "You knew he was a fugitive, and yet you didn't have any objection to that? Didn't the fact that he was a fugitive bother you?" DeWine asked. Up to that point, the Justice Department had a tradition against pardoning fugitives.

They broke his covenant by by ignoring His Word and following other gods. , which was forbidden

God  waited patiently for their repentance and return to His ... He allowed enemies to conquer the land and exile the people. But he had promise to free them after 70 years -when He would open the way to return.
But once again His people have rejected His holy and saving ways. But one day they will return to God -- and to the land He gave us.

What does it mean to be a Christians?  All kinds of civiliazations or battles or rulers have been called Christiand -- and used to deseceate the very meaning of that name. But they are not Chirisnaity. God made it very clear to us that corruption, murder, violence and immorality clash with the expression of Chrisitnaity. Tell by the fruit. Demonstrate the life.

A Christian may be poor (most are) or rich like Nichodemus. (harder for Christian camels eye) He may be involved in community service, or, more likely serves the needy without any human recognition or reward. As Jesus told us, in secret..reward.... Don't make a public display of charity.

In fact, Christians are part of a secret Kingdom -- secret not to those who know God, but totally incomprehensible and invisible to those who reject him and are blind to His ways.

We may soon see a darkness cover our land and new laws destroy our freedom. The first amendment can't cooexist with socialism, because free speech and worship clash iwth solidarity.  Joy will be in the light of His sweet presence, not in the world's wild entertainment. In this secret place with Him, a palce no one esle cans ee -- we find our joy!

Enenmy has usurped so many of Gopd's Words and promises.

Tried to wy8tewash his Marxist connections  but.... Refoused to reveal ... donations. and then medais connecstions ... victory he lost his transparency.

Discernment? No Standards. Two sets of rule: lawless revolutionaries and Christians. Alinksy Hold the Christians accountable to their moral standards, but don't apply it to us.

---------------

Create answers to fill the gap that actual "science" can't explain.

--------

Does God "regard" us as holy? Do we come into His presence as holy? Do we live in His presence as holy?

Heb. 10:7-11, 19-24  (holy priesthood)

"But you are a chosen generation (characterised by quality, condition, class of men -Strong), a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of k darkness into His marvelous light; 10 l who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." 1 Pe 2:9

Pilate washed his hands: "I am innocent..." No he wasn't. He was too cowardly to take a stan for what he know was right. Double guilty! Of conscious disobedience, and compromise.

Quote for today "Discernment is not simply a matter of telling the difference between what is right and wrong; rather it is the difference between right and almost right." Who?

CATEGORY . Obama The Savior? : June 2, 2008 ABC News' Jake Tapper has noticed an alarming trend by the media to make Barack Obama out to be some kind of Savior. General election project for Political Punch readers: Let's keep track of how many Holy images of Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, make their way into print.....To anyone who thinks I am mocking God or religion with this post. I am not. I am mocking the images some in the media are using to portray Sen. Obama. Such as the Reuters photo above. Or this DaVincian New York Magazine image. Or this cover of Rolling Stone. No disrespect towards God or persons of faith intended at all. The jesting is not aimed at religion, God, or Sen. Obama -- but rather those pushing these Holy Images of the Illinois senator who is, after all, but a man. If he is a Savior what does that make Rev. CATEGORY . Is Obama an enlightened being? : The appeal, the pull, the ethereal and magical thing that seems to enthrall millions of people from all over the world, that keeps opening up and firing into new channels of the culture normally completely unaffected by politics? ....Dismiss it all you like, but I've heard from far too many enormously smart, wise, spiritually attuned people who've been intuitively blown away by Obama's presence - not speeches, not policies, but sheer presence - to say it's just a clever marketing ploy, a slick gambit carefully orchestrated by hotshot campaign organizers who, once Obama gets into office, will suddenly turn from perky optimists to vile soul-sucking lobbyist whores, with Obama as their suddenly evil, cackling overlord. Here's where it gets gooey. Many spiritually advanced people I know (not coweringly religious, mind you, but deeply spiritual) identify Obama as a Lightworker, that rare kind of attuned being who has the ability to lead us not merely to new foreign policies or health care plans or whatnot, but who can actually help usher in a new way of being on the planet, of relating and connecting and engaging with this bizarre earthly experiment. These kinds of people actually help us evolve. They are philosophers and peacemakers of a very high order, and they speak not just to reason or emotion, but to the soul. ..... (Faith in a Flag) "....with the immediate bombing danger over, I forgot God. We ought to have been grateful to God for having spared us yet we were not grateful. We still had our eyes on material possessions, earthly safeguards. Even during those terrible first weeks of the occupation, with the Russians in possession of ruined Dresden, we felt completely confident of our personal safety. Now it was the American flag, made with our hands and raised above our big house on the hill, in which we put our trust. We forgot that the flag, made by human hands, could also meet its destruction at human hands.

Alter the bombing when I had walked through the ruined downtown streets and seen forced labor crews gathering up the burned, decomposing bodies to be taken to one huge funeral pyre in the central square, I had resolved to be thankful to God all the rest of my life that I was not among those nameless uncounted dead. But already I had forgotten. All that I had learned of prayer and dependence on God alone had now to be learned over at great length and with infinite hardship.

But in certain ways I had begun to discover, during those first few months of Russian occupation... what man without God can come to. Although I could not then comprehend why the Russians conducted themselves as they did, the dreadful events of Black Sunday in Dresden, May 6, 1945, gave me my first inkling of the moral erosion that had taken place among the Soviet people.

Under cover of darkness, neighbors continued to slip over to our house for refuge. The tales they had to tell made us sick. Several of the women were hysterical. None of us slept that night.

The next day came word of Germany’s surrender and on Tuesday, the war was over. The Russians gave their men three days of liberty to celebrate. Their lust spent in rape, the Red soldiers turned to looting. They were stealing all the cars they could find. After crossing the ignition wires, they would go roaring off down the streets, shouting and sounding the horn. Within a few minutes, with squealing brakes and splintering glass, they would wreck the car at some intersection. Such of them as could still navigate would extricate themselves from the wreckage and presently go off to steal another car.

No, the truth about Russian conduct in liberated areas is not pleasant. The terrible truth is that when you remove God from a society, you remove the basis for a moral code; and when men live without a moral code, they live in violence and sin. Sin is never without its penalties. From the standpoint of long-range Soviet policy in Germany, no greater blunder could have been made than to permit the Russian army to behave as it did.

Our German neighbors in Dresden did not expect easy treatment at the hands of the Red Army, for the dreadful rumors that had reached them from the East left no doubt that things would go hard with them. But no one could have expected, or imagined, what actually took place in the form of rape, murder, and drunken barbarity of all kinds.

From the West, people had heard that the Americans were treating conquered German cities in their zone of occupation very differently, and everyone hoped that in the postwar settlement Dresden would be turned over to American or joint Allied occupation. Charity and sympathy toward defeated opponents, shown often by Americans of every rank, were a natural part of Christian morality, but I think even the Kremlin would now agree that such Christian conduct would also have been a show of tactical wisdom.

There had been high anti-American feeling after the great bombing but overnight, after the Russians arrived, that feeling disappeared. The Russians who might have been welcomed as liberators by many who were strongly anti-Nazi, instead made themselves hated and despised....

We went inside and there a Russian officer, flanked by five armed guards and an interpreter, rose to meet us. “You are under investigation,” the interpreter told us.

We were quickly searched and all our documents of identification taken, including our American passports. Argument was useless. The American flag that had been flying over our house had been torn down that day. Dad and I were taken off to prison.
